Rockburn Institute was established in 1979 and initially provided clinical evaluation and health services research in coordination with the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Center for Hospital Finance and Management. Rockburn led early evaluations of the PSRO/PRO program, case mix severity methods, and prospective payment. Since 1990, Rockburn has supported over fifteen integrated health systems’ programs in clinical and financial effectiveness.
In partnership with our Board Member firms, HMA and JGA, we support providers implementing Clinical Integration under Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice “Statement of Antitrust Enforcement Policy in Healthcare.” Rockburn also provides full support for Evidence-Based Medicine programs.
